Jean Luc Ponty’s performance in the 1972
Montreux Jazz Festival was on the more experimental side of fusion. Not the most memorable Ponty’s album but I
still prefer it to the more commercial fusion and histrionics he went
for later in his career. This album was released
on the short lived Pierre Cardin
label, in a sleeve with round corners.
